I love how this Psalm remembers the history of Israel with the constant reminders that God’s love endures forever.
This gave me an idea of something to do in my quiet time this morning. I want to think about some of the times in my life that God has brought me through, and as I remember them I want to constantly remind myself, his love endures forever.

I like them because they talk about GOD’s love enduring forever. When we were still sinners CHRIST died for us. While we were HIS enemies HE died for us. HE saves us for HIS glory and we deserve HELL. We are blessed by GOD for HIS love because HE is love.

I love how this psalm reminds us that in everything God does, His love endures forever. This verse reminds me of God’s provision and compassion. He gives food to every living creature. That is huge! The plants, animals, and people all live only because our Lord chooses to provide food for us and thenm each and every day. Thank you God for taking care of all of our needs.

The salvation that is provided through Jesus, the blood that the perfect Lamb shed for us on the cross is truly amazing. I was destined for hell but God made me alive in Christ! I can’t wait to give praise to the perfect Lamb of God in heaven, and to sing that new song with all the redeemed! I love God’s love…without it I would held accountable for the sin I’ve committed

I love all the verses because in every verse it reminds us that Gods love endures forver. God made the earth, stars, the moon etc. and through that His love endures forever and is shown through that. I need to have love that endures forever.

God’s love is so amazing that it endures for all of eternity. I also was struck by how the first three verses call us to give thanks to the Lord. God has done so much for me, by sending His Son to live the perfect life I could never live and die the death that I deserved for my sins. If that was the only good thing God had ever done for me, then I should be constantly thankful day in and day out. But in addition to the remarkable, unearned gift of my salvation God gives me life and breath and everything else. It is my goal to have an attitude of gratitude. I spend time every day in my prayers just thanking God for all that He has given me. I try to be super specific and add new things every day to cultivate a sincere heart of thanks for Him. The more I thank God for all He has done for me the more content I am. God has given me all I need in Christ and for that I am eternally grateful!

i love this Psalm!!! it just makes me so happy reading it! His love endures forever. Alot of the time people will leave you, or you might feel deserted by somebody that you love, but God’s love never fails!! His love id forever!!! It’s SO great and it’s something that i have to try and keep in mind EVERYday. And this verse, Psalm 136:12, doesnt’ only tell you how loving God is but it tells you that God is MIGHTY and that He will always be there for you and will always be prepared o help with watever your going through. Such great verses. It is so cool to see the true reverance of early Christians (or in this case Jews). They had such a good idea of what GOD was like, they had seen his miracles. GOD was all and they knew it.

When the Israelites sang this psalm, they were reminded of all the amazing things that God had done for them through the ages, from Creation to the time that they were dwelling in their Promised land. In the same way, I need to be taking time often to reflect on the wonderful things that God has done in my life and the lives of others in the Church. These things show how much God truly loves us, despite the fact that without Christ we are completely devoid of anything worth loving. And Christ’s sacrifice for us was the ultimate gift of love, something that I should never stop praising God for!

This is such a great Psalm! It really makes you think about how big our heavenly father is and it sure did make me want to stop and just praise God for who he is! There is so much to be thankful for! God is truely amazing and His love does last forever. Even after all the sins we have committed He is patient and merciful and shows us love. This verse reminds me of the song that Moses and the Israelites sang after their salvation from Pharaoh. In the midst of Moses’s declaration of how awesome it was that God destroyed the Israelite’s enemies he states, “You have led in your steadfast love the people whom you have redeemed” (Exodus 15:13; ESV). God’s love saved the people from Egypt and brought wrath upon the Egyptians. Hearing the Israelite’s cry for rescue from slavery, out of God’s perfect love He saved those who were faithful and destroyed those who turned their backs to God. God is faithful and hears the sounds of our groans and in that I find peace.

God’s design is so perfect and wonderfully amazing!! Everything was His design and so runs perfectly. His love endures forever. Those are some very powerful words. He loves us so much that he would send his ONLY son to die in our place. That same love continues…for eternity. We cannot even come close to comprehending how much love that is. I really liked how this psalm started with giving thanks and ended with giving thanks. i love these verses. There is a reason they all sound the same. They are reminding us of two very important truths that we need to remember! The first part reminds me of a very important command, which is that I need to be giving thanks to God and praising Him, everyday. He is the God of gods and Lord of Lords. He is the ONLY one! and I need to praise him for that and being so amazing. I also need to praise him for his amazing love that has eternally saved me!

mmmmm the Lord is so good! the sermon this weekend really helped me understand how much God loves us by sending His perfect Son to die on the cross. we all deserved, and yet Christ was sent by the Father to die on a cross for the sins of wicked people at war with God. THAT is love. and God’s love doesnt stop there. He will still reward us as Christians, and will chasten and discipline us because He loves us. i am so thankful what Christ has done and will do for me. God is great!!!

I like what Ben said about thinking about the amazing things God has done and saying his love endures forever! Im gunna do that! I loved how this whole chapter just keeps on saying how amazing God is and how he will love us till the end. This made me think about how God is to be praised so much because he sent Jesus to save our sins and pay for our salvation! I am put into a state of pure awe when I think about how much God and Jesus did for me! God deserves all praise and glory for ever and ever for sending Jesus to save us!

Main idea of this chapter? GOD’S LOVE ENDURES FOREVER.
As my father, He will NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER stop loving me. He’ll care for me, watch over me, and protect me. No matter how many times I’ve sinned He still loves me, because I’m obviously still on this earth. If you really think deep about His love, it’s VERY CONVICTING. It’s convicting to me because when small things on earth happen that I need to forgive people for, I feel that they’re big. However, in reality, THEY’RE SUPER SMALL. Where as God, he FORGIVES and STILL continues to love me. It sure is comforting news to know that my Father will never stop loving me. This is something good to know when evanglizing. Yes, people may believe that God is a very mean God and has alot of wrath, however people need to know this reason. Non-Christians need to know that yes they may sin, but God loves them. HOWEVER, that doesn’t mean that He won’t open a can of wrath upon them. God is 100% LOVING & 100% JUDGING all at once. That’s crazy to think about. Yes I may sin and yes God will keep me acountable for it and confront me on Judgement Day about it, BUT HE STILL LOVES ME! It is only right for a Father to discipline their children because they . . . LOVE THEM!

When this verse talked about the fact that God gives food to every creature it immediately reminded me of Matthew 6 where in one part it says not to worry about things like what we are going eat or drink. The Lord will provide things like food and water for us just. I also loved this psalm because it just kept saying that the Lords love endures forever. I am so happy to have a Lord that is always loving and will never forsake me.

God is mighty and therefore should be feared (because he will judge all); he has the whole world in his hands, and his arm outstretches to those who call on him. He is a just (giving discipline) and also loving (understanding, all-knowing) God. I am so thankful that he has a plan even when I feel like everything is falling apart, and he reassures me that it’s part of a trial and he’ll teach me a lesson out of his love for me. God’s creativity is so astounding when u consider his plan for each of our lives, and when i think of how much he knows, and how little i therefore know, i truly fear him.

this chapter in psalms is amazing and convicting. the psalmist was so intensly thankful and amazed by Gods great love that he wrote a whole chapter on it. i need to set aside a big chunk in my prayer time to just thank God and reflect on His amazing enduring love. for Him to still love me after all i have done against Him is nothing short of a miricle. it hurts my mind to think about how amazing and perfect Gods love is and i NEED to remember it more. not only that but like the psalmist i need to share His love and share my thanks to Him with others. this chapter was legit.

Every single one of these verses is great! Give thanks and praise the Lord, for he is good! Gods love endures forever!! This verse shows me that no matter how bad of a day or how big of a trial i am going through, i can always give thanks to the Lord our God and lift his name high because he is good and his love endures FOREVER! This chapter is great because it says in every single verse, so that we wont forget, that His love endures forever! In this chapter it shows all the great things the Lord does for us, and that his love endures Forever. Therefore, why dont we praise him with enthusiasm and lift up his name every single day? His name is so mighty and powerful and he alone is so loving and forgiving, we should be praising God with all our might and every chance we get! The Lord God is good, we shall love Him and fear HIm at the same time! He shed his blood and took a blood bath for us! Even though it is impossible to repay HIm, I am going to try my very best to do so!

I think that these two verses really help to show that God is has both incredible wrath and love. Often times he is thought just to be one or the other by people, but he’s not. It is important that I realize his power and wrath, so that I fear him. Fearing God, as Bobby talked about this weekend, is absolutely crucial to my walk with him. And on the contrast, by understanding how great God’s love is and that it DOES endure FOREVER, I know that I will forever be forgiven and redeemed from my sin, and will get to live with him forever!! If God were just loving or just wrathful, he would fail to be the Magnificent creator of the universe that is so just and also merciful that he is. I am so glad that he is both wrathful and loving!!

This is such an encouraging passage. Forever and love are big words, and something that I can’t wrap my head around. To know that my Lord and savior’s love for me, a sinner endures forever, makes me soooooooo thankful for the Jesus Christ’s precious blood that covered me and saved me from the eternal fire!

I like how this chapter ends. It goes through this huge long list of what God has done. He has not only done tons of amazing things, He has done everything. When I think abotu all He has done it reminds me of how silly it is to worry about things that go on in my life. I want to Constantly remind myself of how awesome God is and focus on His work instead of worrying about things that i have going on.

My favorite things that God created include the sun, moon, and especially the stars! This verse reminded me of the beauty given in these things…if you ever get a chance when your driving alone late at night stop in a place where no one is and just look up. The stars alone just remind me of God’s great glory.

At True North it was so awesome to speak this song of affirmation that “His Love endures forever”. We are called as believers to praise God without ceasing for all the great things He has done. God’s enduring Love for His people is the reason for our praises. I have so much to be thankful to God for but fail to come even close to giving Him the glory and honor and fear that God deserves. The world and all its distractions try to us keeps us from praising God with all of our heart and all of our soul. We need to stand firm in Christ and fight the distractions and temptations of this world. This psalm is a great model of how we should daily give God the praise and thanksgiving due to Him.
