Psalm 56-57

Psalms 56-57

In God I Trust

To the choirmaster: according to The Dove on Far-off Terebinths. A Miktam of David, when the Philistines seized him in Gath.

56:1 Be gracious to me, O God, for man tramples on me;
all day long an attacker oppresses me;
my enemies trample on me all day long,
for many attack me proudly.
When I am afraid,
I put my trust in you.
In God, whose word I praise,
in God I trust; I shall not be afraid.
What can flesh do to me?

All day long they injure my cause;
all their thoughts are against me for evil.
They stir up strife, they lurk;
they watch my steps,
as they have waited for my life.
For their crime will they escape?
In wrath cast down the peoples, O God!

You have kept count of my tossings;
put my tears in your bottle.
Are they not in your book?
Then my enemies will turn back
in the day when I call.
This I know, that God is for me.
10 In God, whose word I praise,
in the Lord, whose word I praise,
11 in God I trust; I shall not be afraid.
What can man do to me?

12 I must perform my vows to you, O God;
I will render thank offerings to you.
13 For you have delivered my soul from death,
yes, my feet from falling,
that I may walk before God
in the light of life.

Let Your Glory Be over All the Earth

To the choirmaster: according to Do Not Destroy. A Miktam of David, when he fled from Saul, in the cave.

57:1 Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me,
for in you my soul takes refuge;
in the shadow of your wings I will take refuge,
till the storms of destruction pass by.
I cry out to God Most High,
to God who fulfills his purpose for me.
He will send from heaven and save me;
he will put to shame him who tramples on me. Selah
God will send out his steadfast love and his faithfulness!

My soul is in the midst of lions;
I lie down amid fiery beasts—
the children of man, whose teeth are spears and arrows,
whose tongues are sharp swords.

Be exalted, O God, above the heavens!
Let your glory be over all the earth!

They set a net for my steps;
my soul was bowed down.
They dug a pit in my way,
but they have fallen into it themselves. Selah
My heart is steadfast, O God,
my heart is steadfast!
I will sing and make melody!
Awake, my glory!
Awake, O harp and lyre!
I will awake the dawn!
I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples;
I will sing praises to you among the nations.
10 For your steadfast love is great to the heavens,
your faithfulness to the clouds.

11 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens!
Let your glory be over all the earth! (ESV)

  1. Dave Hosford praying for revival before He comes says:

Ps 56:10-11 In God, whose word I praise, in the LORD, whose word I praise – in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

God, His word, praise, trust in God and no fear of mortal man! Put it all together and you have the beginnings of humility: the place which one can truly turn FROM sinful idols TO the God who saves and let Him run your life. And that pleases Him and starts an adventureous life! Please come soon!

  2. Beth Lauder says:

Psalm 56:3 When I am afraid, I will trust in you. 4 In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?

David writes this prayer for help when his enemies, the Philistines, had seized him and his life was threatened. What stood out to me is how he completely trusts in God and His unfailing Word in the face of mortal danger. David trusts that God will be faithful to His Word when He says He will be his God and rescue him when he cries out for help. David understands that He must not fear mortal man because in truth all his enemies can do is kill his body, they can not kill his soul. David was living out the call in Matthew 10:28, “Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both body and soul in hell.” I pray that I will emulate David’s high view of God and total reliance upon Him for all things. If David can rely on God in the face of certain death, I can rely on God’s help in all the trials in my life. God is faithful to deliver us when we cry to Him from a sincere heart that fears and respects Him as the Lord of our lives.

  3. Steffen Eriksen says:

11 in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

King David is putting his full trust in God and will not be afraid. He doesn’t fear man, for what can man do to him with God on his side. He sees that God is far better than everything and has his full trust in Him, and sees that he doesn’t need to be scared at all. And he questions what man can to to him, for God is with him and he is unafraid. I need to have this attitude, too. In God I trust, and I will not be afraid. I don’t care about what man can do to me or what they make think of me. Galatians 1:10 says, “Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ.” And as I am living trusting in God and not being afraid, instead of worrying about man’s view of me or what he can do to me, I need to have my focus on living to represent and glorify God. I need to obey what He has commanded me to do, for unlike how I don’t fear men, I do fear God and His power and His wrath. And I want to hear His words, “Well done, good and faithful servant (slave)” instead of, “Depart from me, I never knew you.” As I will stand before God for every good and bad thing I have done, I want to do my best to live a life pleasing to Him!

Lord, I want all glory to go to you. Help me bring you glory every day.

  5. Riley Hancock says:

God you judge us daily because we are not perfect we are sinful people and that is why you died for me one the cross so we may live for him.

  6. kelly causky says:

3 When I am afraid, I will trust in you.
4 In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?

Sometimes we have such a fear of our peers -what will they think of me? What are they saying about me..? These are stupid thoughts because what God thinks of you and what God can do to you is the only thing that matters. Mortal man can make life on earth more difficult, but they can never rob you of your eternal life. We should be praying for more boldness and confidence in the Lord, especially as we go back to school to evangelize.

  7. Sarah G.! says:

4 In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?
11 in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

First thing I noticed about these two psalms was the transition from begging God to rescue him from his enemies TO praising and glorifying God. It made me think about whether or not I am that quick to praise God in times of worry or stress. I chose these two verses because they immediately reminded me of our country’s currency!! In God we trust!! It is quite apparent that today, a large population cannot say (or show) that they truly trust in God. It encouraged me to be more aware of how many do not know Christ and to make sure that I represent Him where ever I go so that they may see His love!! :D

  8. P.J. says:

“In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?”

I’m thinking that David really wanted the reader to understand the importance of this verse, because it’s truth is repeated again in verse 11. The Philistines had captured him, yet he still had his whole heart trusting in God and he remembered that man cannot do anything to him. This reminded me of two verses with two crucial Biblical truths.

In Luke 12:4-5, Jesus tells his disciples to not be afraid of what man can do to their bodies, but instead remember what God can do to both their bodies AND their soul. Proverbs tells us that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and that I should cry out and search for wisdom as for silver or gold. I want to revere the LORD, which in times of temptation will remind me of the correct path to take, and of the wages of sin and I will find and take the promised “way out”.

In Romans 1:16, Paul tells the church in Rome of his fearlessness for the Gospel and of how he is unashamed of it. As I enter a new school, I need this same mindset. I want to tell people of Jesus Christ each day and be persecuted because of my love for God’s Word. This reminded me of the quote that Ben told us last week in his “Back to School with the Bible” sermon by an ATHIEST MAGICIAN regarding Christians, he said something along the lines of “How much would one hate someone if they knew how to get eternal life and not tell others!” It’s crazy to see an amazing truth come out of the mouth of an atheist. I’m praying that God would use me to be fearless and unashamed of the Gospel at school and on my sports teams.

  10. elizabeth holt :D says:

3 When I am afraid, I will trust in you.
4 In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?

Why should I stress the silly things when I know God has a plan for me? Why do I get nervous about school when I know God will guide me? Why am I afraid if I know God will protect me? If I know God is there for me always, I have no reason to be afraid because He is bigger than all of it. These are really comforting verses because we can always trust in God and that is such a blessing. Thank you so much God for loving me!!! Praise to Jesus Christ!!

  11. Trevor hosford says:

3 When I am afraid, I will trust in you

that is what I need to do when I am afraid, because it is easy to be afraid and try to reliy in friends or family to help you through it but we really need to trust in the lord. Because if you really think about it what can your friends do for you that God can’t do

10 For great is your love, reaching to the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies.

The second chapter is talking about God is great and we need to praise and extol him for he is awesome. I need to praise God more often for being loving and faithful

church was awesome c u all next weekend

  12. Dan Lauder says:

4 In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?

Agreed Steffen, PJ, and others. This verse stood out to me for the same reasons. If my trust is in God, why should I care about what man thinks of me or can do to me? No one can effectively follow Christ if they are overly concerned about what others think of them. When I grasp the fact that because of my trust in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ my eternal destiny is secured, I can live life without fear. This frees me to follow Christ wherever he leads regardless of what other people think of me or could do to me.

  13. Maddie Nadeau :) says:

3 When I am afraid, I will trust in you.
4 In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?

This verse shows us so much that when we put our trust in God, noo harm can come to us. I mean, we’ll still get hurt and everything but we are always safe in the Lord. No lasting harm willl come to us. For even if we die, we are still eternally alive with God our savior. i stress alot about school, and thats something i need to work on and trust that God will help me. Even if i forget my assighments or forget about a test :) God is there to guide us everyday with everything. Praise be to the Lord almighty!!

  14. Ian H. says:

    ~Psalm 56~
4 “In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?”

What an attitude! David trusted in the Lord so much that he did not fear anyone or anything. He had no reason to be afraid, and neither should we (myself included). If I have put my faith and hope in God, I will not be let down by Him. I should not be afraid of other people or anything they can do, because ultimately, the Lord is the one who is in charge.

  15. Jasmine Wonton says:

10 For great is your love, reaching to the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies.

Ah! I love this verse and the song lyrics after it. So inspiring and awe. God’s love is great and awesome. I can’t even imagine how far it must reach to the heavens. It never ends or fails. It comforts me a lot because God always sticks by me and is faithful to His promises even when other people might let me down.

11 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth.

Amen! This is why we are here. To glorify the Lord and spread the gospel! I’m going to pray for His glory to be shown over all the earth.

  16. Dominic S says:

7 On no account let them escape; in your anger, O God, bring down the nations.
8 Record my lament; list my tears on your scroll — are they not in your record?
9 Then my enemies will turn back when I call for help. By this I will know that God is for me.

Wow i love these verses!! First of all, David is begging to God to defeat his enemies that make him suffer, because God judges those who disobey Him. Then, he tells God that he is suffering, and knows that God has noticed his pain. This is important because so many people who are going through rough times think that God has ignored them and that He doesn’t see their anguish. Not true!!!! Finally, the last verse says that he knows God is with him and when he calls on God for help, his enemies will retreat. This is so awesome! We have a protector that when we call on Him, His power is so great and mighty, that our enemies cant even try to fight Him. This is so great and reminds me of God’s awesome power.

  17. ELLA says:

9 I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples.

I love this verse it reminds me of the song we sing in church,
“Let creation sing of the risen King
    Let the universe resound
    With a shout of love
    We will give to You
    All the highest praise”

  18. Eric Walker says:

3 When I am afraid, I will trust in you.

This is a great verse. Here, the psalmist, David, is trusting in God at all times. It is so important to not only trust and praise God in the good times, but also in the bad times (Psalm 34:1). I know for me it can be very easy to try to take hold of the trials I face in life but that is not what God wants me to do. God wants us to give our worries and troubles to him and trust that he will help us and shelter us from the world. I pray that I will always praise and trust in God, whether I am happy or worried, I will trust in the Lord and praise his name. I pray that I act like Job, no matter what happened to him, weather his family was killed or all of his possessions stripped away, he praised God, and was greatly rewarded for it. God is good and deserves the praise all the time!!!!

  19. Jeff Modugno 2010 says:

4 I am in the midst of lions; I lie among ravenous beasts— men whose teeth are spears and arrows, whose tongues are sharp swords.

This is a great chapter that shows me that I should not fear man because I have God on my side. This verse reminds me that I am going back to school and I must put on the armor of God. It is a battle and I need to be ready to share the gosple to everyone.

  20. 4 In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?

I think the whole theme of this Psalm was showing that the Christian life isnt easy. David is telling God everything people are doing to try and persecute him, and then in verses like these, he regains hope and tells God that he will trust on him. But in this verse I like to meditate on what David says here, “what can mortal man do to me?” This verse is so completely true? Honestly, what do I have to be afraid of? Wow, people can tell me I’m weird for sharing the gospel or reading my Bible every day or singing praises. But the thing I do have to and should fear is the wrath of God and what he says he will do if I am ashamed of his name. That hits me hard-that I have absolutely nothing to be afraid of. I am going to pray for this mindset whenever I am witnessing.

  21. Christopher Eriksen says:

7 My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and make music.

8 Awake, my soul! Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn.

In the middle of how David is saying that men are pursuing him and trying to kill him, he says to God be exalted and then says that he will praise Him. And actually, when I read the beginnings of these psalms a ton of them show that David was writing them while he was hiding in such and such while so and so was trying to kill him. I want to have a steadfast heart like David and always be praising Him, because despite whatever is going on God is so good and that is all I should be caring about.

  22. Tanner says:

    ELLO… I read

I like verse 4,”In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?”

I like this verse because it tells that we have no reason to fear man. They can do nothing eternal they can only damage our earthly bodies while GOD can send us to HELL for eternity. I say we should fear only GOD preach because HE tells us to and there is punishment for not obeying HIM and if we are jumped or criticized for what we believe then there is a reward for it.

  23. Billy Morris says:

3 When I am afraid, I will trust in you.

This verse, although short and simple, holds some great truths and meaning. So many times, it is easy for me to trust in God when things are going great and Im not having very many times. Unfortunately, it is not always the case. There are many times, for example when I am afraid, and that is when I need to trust in God the most, even more than during the easy times.

  24. Cameron says:

1 Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy on me, for in you my soul takes refuge. I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings until the disaster has passed.

everyday we need to throw ourselves at God’s feet and cry out to Him for His mercy. david realizes that everyday he needs to cry out to God. we survive because of God’s grace and His mercy, and if we are so arrogant to think that we are living on our own we are fools. every action we do is by God’s grace and mercy. we need to take refuge in God’s mercy and under His wings, just as david does

  25. Rebekah Foreman says:

3 When I am afraid, I will trust in you.

Whenever I am scared ever I always trust in God at that everything is going to be all right. It is really encouraging whenever your scared you know God is going to protect you and be there for you. I shall fear nothing for God is with me I shall only fear God.

  26. shelby says:

In God, whose word I praise, in the LORD, whose word I praise – in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

This is such a great reminder to put all my trust in the Lord and not in worldly pleasures. I need to fear the Lord and not man. I need dto fin my strength in the Lord alone.

  27. Pastor Bobby says:

7 My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and make music.

Even though David was going through a tough time his heart was steadfast. This means to be fixed in direction or firm in purpose. I want to be about praising the Lord no matter what the circumstances of my day are.

  28. Kelsey says:

3 He sends from heaven and saves me, rebuking those who hotly pursue me; Selah God sends his love and his faithfulness.

I like this verse because it reminds me of the complexity of God. This verse shows both his love and faithfulness and also his judgement. He shows his judgement by rebuking the sinners. He shows his love and faithfulness by saving us and forgiving us. He is amazing!

  29. Jasmine Douglas says:

3 When I am afraid, I will trust in you.

Simple and to the point. Without trust in the Lord, we will come across a lot of fear and anxiety. But the bible tells us that we should not be afraid. God is taking care of us and no matter what trials come our way, we can rest assuredly in his sovereignty, knowing that nothing can happen out of his will for you and I. Praise God for that! He’s got the whole world in his hands.

  30. Spencer Camp says:

    Great Psalms!

I want to do as David did and trust in the Lord in times of trouble. I noticed even when David was hiding in caves, and the enemy was all around, he still praised the Lord. I want God to be praised whether good or bad times.

  31. Laura Johnson says:

13 For you have delivered me from death and my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before God in the light of life.

John 11:25-26 ” I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die” Like verse 13 says from psalm 56 Jesus Christ has taken that death so we can have eternal life and brought us from out of the darkness where we stumbled and had no idea where we were going but really heading to eternal destruction and has given His Son for us as a way out from all our sins and shown us the light of life (Christ). And now we can have a relationship with Him. Nothing is better than that! I love this verse!

  32. Snowmann 2010 says:

4 I am in the midst of lions; I lie among ravenous beasts— men whose teeth are spears and arrows, whose tongues are sharp swords.

Oh God, here on this earth we are forced to deal with the persecution of man, of the blind, Lord I pray that none are deceived and that thru Christians, you are Glorified. In this World The Bible tells me that Jesus said that the world will hate us because they first hated him. i know i will be rejected. I know i will be laughed at. I know it will be hard. I don’t care thou, I have Jesus.I have God. With him I will fear no evil, overcome any temptation, because the lord God, Creator of the Heavens and the Earth, is in control. I wont be let down.

  33. josh senger says:

4 In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?
david has been captured by these men that hate him and want to hurt and slander him, and yet he says this! this gives me a serious mental check. when things get tough with school or whatever i can get worried or stress out, but here david has just been captured and his life is threatened and he says that he isnt worried about it because he knows that man can do nothing that is not under the strict control of God! and while all this is going on he is praising God. i need to take david as a serious example when in hard times

  34. Karsten Klein says:

1 Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy on me, for in you my soul takes refuge. I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings until the disaster has passed.

This verse is about trusting god no matter what happens. When something goes terribly wrong you can always trust in god to keep you safe. When people are plotting to harm him, instead of fighting back, he asks god to keep him safe and to rebuke his pursuers.

  35. Katie Slusher says:

9 I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples.

David is praising the name of the Lord among the nations, sharing with the people the good that God has done! I want to be as someone who is always praising the Lord. I want non-Christians to know me as someone who is always worshipping and exalting my God. I need to be praising the Lord for all the blessings he has given me!

  36. Bri B says:

    Psalm 56
4 In God, whose word I praise,
in God I trust; I will not be afraid.
What can mortal man do to me?

~~When we trust in God and give him praise and are everything and trust in everything that He’s says we should never be afraid. What can people do other then persecute us and tease us because of what we believe and who we worship.

    Psalm57
    9 I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations;
I will sing of you among the peoples

~~That no matter where I am I will praise God and stand firm in what I believe and tell other people about eternal life through Jesus Christ!!!

  37. Evan McKee says:

11 in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

I’m so glad that no one can take away my eternal life. It’s so good to know that whatever people say or threaten here on earth, they can only harm us in this life.

With God on my side, there is no one nor nothing who can be against me. Becuase my Heavenly Father is Great and Almighty there is nothing greater who can be my enemy. If my trust in Him is so incredibly tight, than I won’t be afraid. I mean, why would I fear something if I knew that He would protect me? I wouldn’t. Man can’t do anything greater to me when I have God on my TEAM. =)

  39. T moore says:

3 When I am afraid, I will trust in you.
4 In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?

this is awesome. these men are out to get David yet he is still praising God and has his trust in Him. David also has the right mindset when saying “what can mortal man do to me?” we should be fearing man but we should fear God, the one who can destroy body and soul (Matthew 10:28). I pray that I would keep this in mind, especially when evangelizing.

  40. Ben Blakey says:

5 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth.

I love how in the middle of crying out for God to help him, David cries out that God’s glory would be over all the earth. Even on a rough day, David longs for God to be glorified! I want that to be my cry, too!

  41. kyle 10'. the adventure begins Sept. 8th! Are you ready? says:

    Psalm 56:

12 I am under vows to you, O God; I will present my thank offerings to you.
13 For you have delivered me from death and my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before God in the light of life.

“I am under vows to you, O God” Makes me think being a Christian is a committment, you can’t choose what days you want to be a Christian. (you could, but if that was me personally I would doubt my salvation) Christianity is a lifestyle! The application to verse 12 would be that I need to realize that I’m committed to being a Christian, I gotta live out 24/7 Christianity!

Amen, verse 13 makes me want to rejoice! The Lord has delivered me from death, I won’t go to hell like I deserve to go because Jesus gave His life up for me and took the punishment for my sin! Now being a Christian, I don’t stumble as much in my sin like cussing. Christ has revived my heart and has made me a new person!

    Psalm 57:

7 My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and make music.

This verse brings good memories of times where I felt that my faith in Christ is firm and unshakeable. Nothing us in this world matters to me as much as my relationship with the Lord. I don’t care what people think about me at high school Lord, because I care what you think about me, O Lord!

  42. Fëanor says:

3 When I am afraid, I will trust in you
4 In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?

These verses speak of the absolute trust we can put in God. I’m so glad to put my trust in a God who never fails or makes mistakes. I can put my faith in Jesus to save me. I don’t need to doubt at all because Jesus has rescued me. I wish I could have the same trust this psalmist does. Sometimes, though, I am plagued by doubts. I can have complete confidence in Jesus’ saving grace.

  43. Jenae (= says:

4 In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?

This verse just kind of stuck to me. I dont know its probably cause it rhymes but its really cool!

  44. Jackson Dahl says:

4 In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?
10 In God, whose word I praise, in the LORD, whose word I praise-
11 in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

These verses are so awesome.. it’s basically saying, if I have God on my side, there’s nothing anybody can to do me to tear me away from him.. to think that the Almighty LORD of the Universe will open a can on my enemies in order to protect me.. now THAT’s legiT.

  45. Alison says:

8 Record my lament; list my tears on your scroll — are they not in your record?

This reminds me of a praise song my dad used to sing when I was little. The chorus goes “He knows my name, He knows my every thought, He sees each tear that falls, and hears me when I call.” It is so comforting to me to know that God is with me even and especially when I need him most! What could be better? What an incredible, perfect, wonderful God!

11 in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

Love this!! I’m trusting in God, this world is temporary, nothing bad that happens here really matters. My eternity is secure, I have nothing to fear. Nothing man can do is anything that worries me because God is my strength and my shield!

  46. Shane McCuistion 2010 says:

3 When I am afraid, I will trust in you

When you are in fear of something, most peoples initial thought doesn’t involve turning to God and praying. I remember when I was afraid of going to Hell. I just got done listening to a sermon about the rapture and how it could happen at anytime, and I knew that I wouldn’t be ready for it. I was really afraid!!! That night, my heart was beating really fast and I just couldn’t stop thinking about being in hell FOREVER!!!!! About a week or 2 later I gave my life to the Lord because I was that afraid of going to Hell! Now I am here living a life for God without having to worry about Hell and telling others about it and trying to save them from it to!!! Now my 1st thought when I am worried or afraid is pray to God and ask him to help me with the situation.

  47. Sara L. says:

13 For you have delivered me from death and my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before God in the light of life.

Jesus has saved me from eternal suffering in death….but this verse is also talking about stumbling. 1 Corinthians 10:13 tells me that God will always provide a way out of temptation. This verse is reminding me of that….if I’m always praying and asking God to help me out of situations where I may be tempted to compromise then He will help me! I need to trust in His power so “that I may walk before God in the light of life”. :)

  48. Michelle [slave for Christ] 2010 says:

4 In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?

God has done so many miraculous things throughout the Bible. From, obviously, creating earth etc, to healing people and parting seas and turning people into salt! God is completely in charge. What point is there to even fear men on this earth? I have to really enstill that in my mind. I need to remind myself of this verse day by day so that i am encouraged to know that I have a mighty Father Who I can fully trust in! I have absolutely no reason not to trust in Him, but at times, i fear situations. God is in control! Maranatha!!
