Last Friday we celebrated four years of True North at our Year End Banquet. We honored our biggest and strongest Senior class ever. We had a lot of fun watching videos and looking at yearbooks and eating good food. But in my mind, the night was about worship. It was a chance for us to stop and give God the glory for all he has done in this ministry.
I’ll be honest. It is hard for me to think back on these four years of True North without getting emotional. When I think of all the souls God has saved and the way their lives are changing I get excited from the inside out. God has raised up a real group of on fire young people here. And it is a privilege for me to serve with them.
The excitement I get from looking back makes me wonder what year five will be like. Who will rise up to take the Senior’s leadership role? Who are the new students God will save and will become a part of our True North family? I can’t wait to see what God is going to do next!
Because when it comes to God, I have complete confidence in him. He has done things these last four years that will stand forever. And I know he has even more in store for this next year than all I can imagine now. God has all of the power now and forever to keep this ministry moving forward:
10 And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. 11 To him be the dominion forever and ever. Amen. (ESV) –
I love the description here: The God of all grace! He has definitely proven that in the past and I know he has all the power we need to fuel revival in the future. This is our text for True North this weekend. I’m excited to learn more about the God who called us to heaven and has the strength to take us all the way there. Who will be at True North this weekend to give God the glory with me? In fact, if God has worked in your life these last four years leave a comment and praise his name!

Amen! Im soo ready for this weekend to come together and give God the glory! Ive only been at True North since moving up from The Narrow a year ago but I can already see the amazing work God has done both in me as well as in True North as a whole! Praise God for all that he has done!!
In my time serving God at True North, He has certainly revealed Himself to me more intimately, deeply, personally, and in greater magnitude than I ever anticipated. I have been stretched and grown, blessed and bruised–all for God’s glory and my betterment. He has increased my testimony and faith in Him, and though I DO KNOW how immutable, sovereign, and omnipotent He is, I ALSO know that I am always left humbled in gratitude, on my knees in worshipful submission to Him so that He can have His way in and through me. I have learned this here, and I am excited to avail myself for Him this NEXT year as we join His Force by way of True North, in hastening the day of His return.
Thank you, Lord, for all that You do and all that You are. And thank You, too, for Pastor Bobby, Christa, Pastor Ben, and Katie for their response to Your call, to invest their full-time lives in serving You through this ministry of True North. Lord, have Your way with us.

Id have to say that was deff the most amazing part of the night!!
It has been so awesome to be a part of True North for the last four years. God has grown me more in the last four years than ever before. It has been so humbling to be able to be a part of what God is doing. I am awed at how much some of the students I have worked with have changed over the last four years. It is so encouraging to see the clear work of God in someone’s life. Pastor Bobby and Christa have also been a huge encouragement and challenge to me. They never let me stay the same, they are always pushing me to grow and do more and be more involved. I love it! I know I’m a different person than I was four years ago, and I can’t wait to see what God does in the next four years!!!
Thank you so much Lord for lifting me up out of the depths of my sin and renewing my mind! You are so wonderful and your mercy never ceases to amaze me.

Although I have only been attending True North for a little over 7months, it has still changed my life. The people working there and the words they have said..can only be directly from God. So thank you Lord, for bringing me to this place in my life where I am open to the words of leaders and thank you for providing the people at True North.
Bobby is right, amazing things have happened over the last four years and I only wish the freshmen and all the other classman could’ve seen it! God is good!
God has been so faithful to True North. He has blessed us so much and is amazing! He deserves all the glory and praise for what has happened over the past four years. The only reason that we are a strong senior class is because our God is strong, and the only reason we are a large senior class is because God has been gracious to call many to salvation. Please glorify God for how awesome True North is and for anything good that is in the senior class of 2010! We have been faithful to Him and His truth (because of His grace), and He has been faithful to us! God is glorious!!!!
Jude 24-25- “24(A) Now to him who is able(B) to keep you from stumbling and(C) to present you(D) blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, 25to(E) the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord,(F) be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.”
